Job Description
About the role
We are looking for permanent full-time Warehouse Operators at our Blacktown site operating between the hours of 7:00am to 4:30pm, with the advantage of having a shorter day on Fridays between 7am – 2pm. As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll report to the Warehouse Team Leaders and play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, goods, and products to meet business operations and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promptly process distribution orders/requests, including pick packing, shipping, and stock management
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with WHS standards
• Unload containers and liaise with customers
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise
• Perform manual handling tasks
• Participate in cycle counts and stock takes as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
What you will bring to the role
• Valid Forklift License
• 2+ years’ experience in Counterbalance and High Reach
• Strong safety mindset and understanding of health and safety requirements
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Accuracy, methodical work approach, and good numeracy
• IT skills and ability to complete paperwork and count stock items
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods Handling
• Flexibility in duties and awareness of customer deliverables and quality impact
• Attention to detail
• Can do attitude
