About the role
Based in Perth, this role is responsible for driving sales growth of Temperzone and Hitachi products across the Residential and Light Commercial markets in Western Australia. We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable sales professional to lead the charge in building strong relationships, driving strategic growth, and delivering exceptional value to our trade and commercial partners. Key Responsibilities:
Build strong, trusted relationships with dealers, installers and key customers across WA, making sure they feel supported and valued.
Provide clear product advice, pricing support and application guidance to help customers choose the right Temperzone and Hitachi solutions.
Deliver product training, technical presentations and support marketing promotions that bring our brand to life.
Grow our presence across WA by identifying new opportunities and onboarding new residential and light commercial customers.
Manage your territory with structured customer visits, staying connected and proactive with all key accounts.
Prepare accurate quotes and submissions using Epicor E10, following up to negotiate and secure orders.
Work closely with internal teams, Sales, Credit, Customer Service, Logistics and Product Management, to ensure smooth customer experiences.
Capture all customer interactions in the Sales Activity Planner and provide clear monthly reports on activity, trends and progress.
Stay up to date with new products, industry changes and regulatory requirements to provide informed support to customers.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you will bring to the role
2–4 years’ sales experience within HVAC or a closely related technical field.
Trade qualification, HVAC Diploma, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background (Cert 3, 4, Diploma or equivalent).
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications (mechanical, electrical, ducting, pipework, controls).
Experience with commercial equipment applications, including VRF systems and DX air‑cooled systems.
Strong communication, negotiation, planning and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.
