Job Description

About the role
As a Purchasing Officer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing end‑to‑end purchasing activities across local and overseas suppliers. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure materials are ordered, shipped, and delivered on time.
This role suits someone who enjoys building strong supplier relationships, working with ERP systems, and contributing to a collaborative, fast‑moving supply chain environment.

What you will bring to the role

  • Process MRP by reviewing purchase order suggestions and placing orders aligned to agreed lead times and quantities
  • Manage open purchase orders, ensuring details such as quantities and delivery dates are accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate logistics and freight arrangements, including air freight and courier shipments when required
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding shortages, delivery updates, and shipping information
  • Maintain demand and forecast settings within the ERP system to support business objectives
  • Build and manage positive relationships with suppliers, including pricing, terms, and supply discussions
  • Raise and manage supplier non‑conformance reports and support continuous supplier improvement
  • Support supplier reviews based on quality, service, and performance
  • Reconcile supplier invoices and support payment approvals where required
  • Promote safe, responsible, and environmentally conscious work practices
