Job Description
About the role
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Auckland team. In this role, you will coordinate and assist operational activities within our Daily Management System, ensuring goals are met across Health & Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Efficiency. You will support production planning and scheduling, maintain transactional excellence in EPICOR, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows. This position is ideal for someone with strong planning skills, ERP experience, and a background in production administration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Review HazMat compliance and coordinate quarterly hazardous substances stocktake.
• Promote BEST practices and support ISO9001 audits and outcomes.
• Manage production planning and scheduling in conjunction with the Production Scheduler.
• Maintain EPICOR transactions and ensure accurate job scheduling and release.
• Review stock levels and coordinate requirements for Auckland and Australian orders.
• Provide operational support to production teams, including documentation and training.
• Maintain Daily Management System boards and assist with audits and business cases.
• Initiate and assist with projects to improve production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Temperzone’s Quality Policy and related documentation.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you will bring to the role
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
• Minimum NZQA Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience in office or business administration.
• Over 5 years’ experience as a production administrator.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, preferably EPICOR.
• Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of production processes and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Ability to think analytically, work collaboratively, and demonstrate resilience under pressure.
