Job Description

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Storeperson to join our Distribution team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support the accurate and efficient flow of goods across production and distribution. You’ll be responsible for receiving, processing, and dispatching stock, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production requirements. This position suits someone with strong warehouse experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to inventory control and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods from suppliers, production, and transfers
  • Pick, pack, and supply materials to production lines based on job orders and requests
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock movements, bin checks, and replenishment
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies to ensure system accuracy
  • Process sales and transfer orders, including packing, labelling, and dispatch
  • Operate systems such as Epicor and SmartFreight to manage stock and shipments
  • Load containers and prepare export shipments in line with compliance requirements
  • Perform cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory reporting
  • Ensure strict adherence to FIFO inventory practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organised workspace

Desired Skills and Experience

What you will bring to the role

  • Proven experience in warehouse inventory control and stock management
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using RF scanning systems within warehouse environments
  • Current forklift licences (counterbalance and reach) and confidence operating safely
  • Understanding of customs, compliance, and warehouse operational standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Good organisation, time management, and problem‑solving skills
  • Full driver’s licence
