Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking for individuals experienced in Production and Maintenance Management to lead our manufacturing and maintenance operations at our Sydney site.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing production operations while driving equipment reliability, product quality, and on-time delivery. You'll lead production and maintenance teams, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and play an important role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations.
Your Day-to-Day:
Lead, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams.
Drive a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture across the site.
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive productivity improvements, waste reduction, and process optimisation.
Oversee workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Manage maintenance resources, contractors, spare parts, and asset reliability programs.
Desired Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring to the Role:
Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience managing both production and maintenance functions.
Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Operations-related tertiary qualification.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, maintenance strategies, and operational excellence.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM methodologies.
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of quality systems, production planning, and operational KPIs.
Experience within HVAC, refrigeration, sheet metal, or a related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
