About the role
Ready for a role where your attention to detail and hands‑on skills really matter? Be part of a tight‑knit warehouse team making sure products reach customers smoothly, safely, and on time. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, take pride in doing things right the first time, and like a mix of picking, packing, forklift work, and general warehouse tasks, this could be the ideal opportunity to grow your experience with a trusted industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer and branch orders with accuracy and care.
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to ship orders and update stock.
  • Receive goods from Production, check them off, and put them into the correct warehouse locations.
  • Prepare labels, consignment notes, and manifests using SmartFreight.
  • Help load and stage goods for carriers, freight companies, and customer collections.
  • Keep stock organised by following FIFO, 5S, and warehouse best practices.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures and reporting hazards or incidents.
  • Support general warehouse duties such as tidy-up tasks, export container loading, and yard maintenance.

Desired Skills and Experience

 

What you will bring to the role

  • Current Class 1 Driver Licence.
  • Valid certifications for counterbalance forklift, reach forklift, and order picker.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
  • Proven experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts.
  • Skilled picker/packer with strong RF scanning experience.
  • A systems‑driven and organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards in a busy environment.
